SPD Provides Engineering Students with Unique Opportunities
Thanks to David Woolf ’60, (Nu Chapter, UC Berkeley) for participating in this Q&A.
Why did you join SPD as an undergraduate? I liked the idea of a social fraternity for engineers. I was not interested in other social fraternities because the members spent too much time horsing around and boozing. I made some nice friends in the fraternity. The fact that we were all pursuing an engineering career strengthened the bonds with the other members.
Why would you recommend that students today join SPD? For the same reasons I joined.
